ok, kristin, i'll keep up my stupid blog.
this blog only has one reader. but she's a hell of a devoted fan. so. safe travels. i'll do better this time, i promise.

And other things, generally one dish at a time, but mostly I make soup.
Some things about the way I cook:
- Variety over leftovers - I often make one dish at a time.
- When cooking small portions, planning is essential to avoid waste.
- Yes to made from scratch, whole grain, full of vegetables. The only thing I always say no to is meat.
- Anything I order at a restaurant I will attempt to make at home, like my grandmother taught me.
- I don't have a sense of smell. It doesn't seem to matter much.
- I love cooking and will try anything. But mostly, I make soup.
